Leilani Gribner Update.

Ah! I can't believe it's winter already, and Christmas is just around the corner! Since last blog entry, I've decided to do a complete turnaround career-wise. I'm moving from the high-paying,fast-past medical field to become a preschool teacher. HUGE pay cut,but so much more fulfilling for me in the long run. My husband fully supports me in this, even though it means we will be living below the poverty line for awhile. Bless his heart, I love him so much! Things will get better next year, I know… Continue

Leilani Gribner Treasure-Hunting & Crafting adventures!

This Labor Day weekend, I woke up early, and decided to venture out into the "Labor Day Sale Madness". I thought since this was my first time shopping on a holiday, I'd play it safe and stay in town. There's quite a few thrift stores in my neighborhood so I was sure to find something good! I called up a few freinds, and we went out, not expecting much excitement in our neck of the woods. Boy, were we ever wrong- every place we went was complete CHAOS!!! There were lines for the fitting rooms. Pe… Continue

Peter Anthony Lingerie And Its History

Lingerie suggests fashionable and attractive women's undergarments. It derives from the French word linge, which means "washables". Ricardo C. Treatment towards women has even changed

I grew up in a world of terrific women and they all got respect. Even when I started dating I cherished a date with a young woman and treated her with kindness and showed respect and admiration for her. I really don't see much of that anymore around town where you have to look twice sometimes to make sure your eyes do not deceive you. I won't go into any details. The women's movement brought many good things but you don't throw the baby out with the bath water and we often see that these days! W… Continue

Ricardo C. Coming of Age in The late 40's and early 50's.

At the time it seemed no big deal but looking back I relish those days of simplicity when all was as it seemed, good and fun. No evil lurked, only happy family life and little friends that I loved. All too fast that began to change with the McCarthy hearings. We learned of an evil that threatened our simple way of life, the communist menace. I particularly liked the cars of this period because my father was a traveling salesman and drove to all his accounts. His accounts were in the steel belt o… Continue
